About DeKalb County Criminal History

DeKalb County criminal records are split among the Sheriff, the Circuit Court, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, the Missouri Department of Corrections, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. We built this private reference site to make those lines easier to follow. The goal is to help a reader reach the correct public portal, office, address, or phone number without treating a court docket, booking entry, and statewide history as if they were the same record.

Why We Built This Site

Missouri provides several public record channels, but each one answers a different question. The DeKalb County Sheriff creates local law-enforcement records, while custody and booking information may be held by the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail in Pattonsburg. The Circuit Clerk in Maysville maintains filed cases and dispositions. Statewide history comes from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, corrections information comes from the Missouri Department of Corrections, and registry data comes from the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. We organize the verified contacts, public portals, request steps, and published fees for those distinct custodians.

What You Will Find Here

  • Agency contacts: verified routes to the Sheriff, Regional Jail, Circuit Clerk, and Missouri record systems
  • Record guides: how criminal court case records are found and read in DeKalb County
  • Record cleanup information: how Missouri expungement works and where a DeKalb petition begins
  • Official check walkthroughs: the differences between MACHS name searches and fingerprint services through the Missouri State Highway Patrol

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Missouri court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those boundaries place firm limits on what we can provide:

  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
  • We cannot give legal advice or apply Missouri law to a specific case
  • We cannot issue certified court documents, rap sheets, or other official records
  • We cannot submit an expungement petition or public-records request for a visitor
  • We cannot run an official background check or retrieve a person's criminal record

An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the Sheriff, Circuit Clerk, Regional Jail, or Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. Those providers operate independently and choose their own prices, terms, and result sources. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set the provider's charge, compile its results, or control what its service returns.
