1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve them for visitors, perform official checks, or submit documents on anyone's behalf.

The material identifies custodians of DeKalb County criminal records, including the Sheriff, criminal courts, Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to tools operated by outside providers.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on an agreement not to:

• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it
• Use bots, scraping software, or other automated tools on the pages
• Attempt to enter systems or data without authorization
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
• Use information to threaten, stalk, or harass another person
• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from the site or a linked tool may not be used to stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also be criminal. Missouri places specific limits on misuse of Missouri Sex Offender Registry data. Registry information is published for lawful public-safety awareness, not vigilantism, blacklisting, or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create a background check, credit report, or consumer report. Our advertising partners likewise do not provide a site feature designed to screen an applicant, evaluate a rental request, calculate an insurance rate, or judge creditworthiness. Data from the site or a linked tool may not be used to:

• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules
• Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
• Evaluate a housing applicant
• Make an employment decision

A check required for a regulated purpose must come through an authorized Missouri State Highway Patrol channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is not legal advice. General descriptions of DeKalb County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or Missouri expungement rule applies to a particular person. That question belongs with a licensed Missouri attorney.

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to DeKalb County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or used to create derivative work without prior written permission.

10. Indemnification
