Questions about official DeKalb County criminal records belong with the public office that created or maintains the file. This private resource cannot retrieve, change, or certify a government record. The routes below identify the right place for a court case, Sheriff report, Regional Jail booking entry, or statewide Missouri history. Maysville is the county seat, while the regional jail is in Pattonsburg, so the correct contact depends on the record rather than the place where a search begins.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use the office tied to the record type. DeKalb County does not place every criminal record under one records counter:

  • Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the Sheriff or city agency that created the report
  • Arrest and jail records: call the DeKalb County Sheriff at 816-449-5802 or the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail at 660-367-2200, based on the file sought
  • Criminal records and official checks: use the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository and MACHS
  • Expungement petitions: ask the court that handled the eligible case about the current filing process

The county site does not publish a separate Sheriff records division address. Call the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office at 816-449-5802 during its posted Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. business hours before mailing or visiting. For filed court records, contact the DeKalb County Circuit Clerk, 109 W. Main Street, P.O. Box 248, Maysville, MO 64469, at 816-449-2602 option 2. The Clerk posts weekday hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
